It's official

In approximately two months we are going on a 6 days vacation to Paris! My first trip to Paris, yey! For those of you who don't know, this is my 30th birthday present. We managed to book flight tickets and in less than two weeks we are determined to find a convenient place to stay.

I'm not telling you this to be bragging but to ask for your help and advice.
If you've been to Paris before and you want to share with me a bit of your experience regarding places to stay, places to visit, means of transportation, things to eat, places to shop... I will be thankful and happy to read your opinion.

P.S. 1. From my point of view white trousers are a must have for every girl's wardrobe, especially when in summer. I was looking such a pair for a while now and I was very happy when I found it here.
P.S. 2. Ya' I know, I'm a brown maniac.

Zara sandals GIVEAWAY

I have the pleasure to announce the start of a new giveaway. And, to be more precise, I'm talking about a Zara sandals giveaway.
As you have probably already seen, initially I intended to sell them in the Shop my closet section. Afterwards, I came up with a better idea, to give them away.

It's honest to say the sandals are size 39 and have been worn three times. Nonetheless, they are in perfect condition. You can see more pictures with me wearing them here and here.

All you have to do is:
1. Like Zadin on Facebook.
2. Share the giveaway photo.
3. Leave a comment saying "I'm in" to the giveaway photo.

You can win an additional entry for every daily share and "I'm in" comment.
You can win an additional entry for every location you follow me on, just leave me a comment to this post.

The giveaway is international. The winner will be chosen randomly.

That skirt...

I remember 4 months ago, when I bought this skirt, I was very enthusiastic about it. I had another skirt in mind and I wanted badly to create an outfit with a similar one, because I surely wasn't going to pay 481 euros on that one. What could possible justify such a huge price?

Once again I find myself promoting the idea that style and sense of fashion have nothing to do with money. Would you believe me if I told you my skirt was only 5 euros (bought at 50% off)?

Now that you know it cost so little, do you see me differently, do you think less of me? If your answer is YES, you are definitely a snob and you should press the close button of the browser and never come back because we certainly don't have anything in common.  If your answer is NO, you are definitely my kind of person and I advise you to stick around because I promise you won't regret it.

P.S. I want to show my public gratitude to some special girls who managed to make my days better: Felicia, Saci, Anamaria, Georgiana, Debb. Because of people like you, blogging will remain an activity worth keep on doing.

Simple girl

I explained in this post the "complicated mind" part if this blog's motto... Now it's time to explain the "simple girl" part, so here are few of my arguments:
I come from a modest income family.
Everything I own, together with my husband, was obtained through study, work, ambition, seriousness.
I strongly believe that we are meant, as human beings, to get married and procreate.
I have never been to a 5 stars hotel.
I could win the lottery and I wouldn't buy a BMW or a Mercedes...
And the list could continue...

Trend alert - striped top with red skirt

In fashion, there are some classic combinations you can never go wrong with. As you already noticed from the attached pictures, I'm talking about striped tops with red skirts.

If you have these two items in your wardrobe, then you are one lucky fashionable girl.

I doubt there is still someone who doesn't know these girls, but if there is...  I'm letting you know that the first picture presents Blair Eadie, the second picture presents Romanian blogger, Ana Morodan, and the third picture presents another famous Romanian blogger, Ioana Gheorghe.

In my opinion, these girls know their way with fashion and worth being followed.

Now, tell me, who do you think wore this combination better?

Today I would have liked...

To be on a beach in Costineşti with my husband near me... if it's possible, around sunset...
To enjoy a cold drink with my husband near me... and have this view in front of me...
To take a walk along the Danube river at midnight with my husband...
To dance with my husband on this song...
To make passionate love with my husband...

Unfortunately he is 2500km away...

Complicated mind

Have you ever wondered why is written on the banner from the upper part of the blog "Story of a simple girl with a complicated mind..."?
The answer is quite simple... because this is how I am. Even in the pictures below I seem peaceful and serene, but my mind is thinking to all sort of stuff.
What stuff? I usually consume my neurons thinking about how to start my own business and how to be my own boss. This is my biggest dream which I hope will became reality one day.

In the mean time, as you can see, I made some visual upgrades to the blog (at least this is how I see them) and I added some items to the Shop page.  I will be happy to receive your feedback on all this.
Thank you for reading!

Spring vacation - part 2 of 2

Every time I'm posting vacation photos I have in mind there are people who don't even know where Romania is on the map. This is not a totally unjustified and to be honest I'm not here to judge anyone. All I want to tell you is that Romania it's a destination worth seeing either you choose to go to the mountains or to the sea side.

If the photos below haven't convinced you yet, go ahead  and check out last year's mountains photos (here and here) and sea side photos (here and here). What do you think?

Spring vacation - part 1 of 2

We were so lucky to be able to spend four days to the mountains and it was so relaxing and soul nourishing that it would be impossible to describe it in words. That is why I will let the photos talk for themselves.

P.S. 1. Missed you all blogosphere girlfriends! I will soon pay you a visit :).
P.S. 2. This vacation allowed me once again to cultivate my great passion for photography.
If you find these photos at least interesting I invite you to check out our previous mountain trip photos here and here. Let me know if you liked it.
P.S. 3. I will come back with further details about our trip to the mountains in the next post.
