Before getting to meet Ana and Andy, my husband and I had to wake up early in the morning and go to a police station. We had to do that because a friend of mine asked me to retrieve his wallet, that had been stolen during his stay there, three weeks before us.
He made a hand procure which empowered me to pick up the wallet, a copy of the ID card and, with the written notice received by post from the French authorities, I went to the lost and found department.
I picked it up without problems and obviously the wallet had no money in it.
After that, we went to the meeting place with Ana and Andy and together we took the train to Versailles.
Once there we decided to stop at McDonald's for a drink or to grab something to eat. All well and good until poor Ana's hot coffee was spilled on her, having to endure an unimaginable burning and obviously staining her blouse and trousers.
Luckily I had the Inspired by Zadin red dress with me, wanting to give it as a present to Ana, and the day was saved.
We had a beautiful day that remained imprinted in my memory, not because I saw Versailles, but because I spent it with some people with whom I resonated as if we knew each other since forever.
In the evening, when we returned from Versailles, we went to the supermarket and bought something to eat and after that we stopped somewhere along the Seine and we improvised a picnic, which is quite common in Paris.
We said goodbye sometime after 10 pm, with watery eyes and of course with a lot of memories.
Ana, Andy, we can not wait to see you again! Kiss you! Miss you!
