Made in Romania

Today I would like to talk to you about a new project I intend to initiate. The project will be called Made in Romania and will involve promoting pieces of clothing/shoes/accessories, made by talented Romanian designers, who are at the beginning and don't benefit of an intense promotion in the media, yet. I intend to do an article like this at least once a month.

The idea for this project emerged due to several factors. One of them is represented by the frequent discussions on the blog about wearing authentic pieces, possibly Romanian, instead of imitation ones (that doesn't mean I won't wear such pieces anymore), another factor is a proposal I got from Cătălina to wear one of her creations, another factor is my own experience in this regard and the fact that I understand more than anyone the need for promotion.
The last factor is the desire to increase the blog and how else than coming in front of you with interesting and useful ideas.

The pilot episode of Made in Romania series will be released on February 24th ... so stay tuned ...

A M B I T I O N (En&Ro)

I was recently challenged by Daniela to answer a few questions for an interview. I was very excited and I consider it to be a great compliment. From my point of view it's a HUGE thing when someone considers you worthy of an interview. I'm not going to detail it further because you can read the interview directly on her blog. On the other hand, I would like to detail her request: please think of a few words that characterize you... in order to do the cover for the interview. Well... for an instant I was blocked.

Initially, I thought about giving her a quote with which I identify myself, but it would have been too easy and also unfair. I don't like simple things, much less unfair, so I begun thinking... The answer came faster than I expected... I know myself.
So here it is: Don't let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do in life. Have confidence in your strengths and don't be afraid to conquer the world, if that is what you feel like doing. Anything is possible. You only need AMBITION.

This is not a theory, these are the ideas that guide my life and which I hope I'll never abandon and this is what I wish to you all who read me! ♥

Code Red (En&Ro)

These days I realized once again that nature is a force against which we are powerless. I don't know how it was in the areas where you live, but here, in the last week, we had to deal with two waves of CODE RED snow. The bad weather prevented us from getting to work for 3 days and left behind a nearly polar cold and 3-4m tall mountains of snow, in some places. I've never seen anything like it. :(

The second aspect I would like to talk to you about is somehow related to the previous one, as it involves some sort of CODE RED too :D. Putting the joke aside, know that I'm very excited about my new purchase from www.sammydress.com. You might be tempted to say that the bag is similar to a Celine bag, but in fact it's similar to a Valentino bag. It's a bag that costs little and which many of my blog readers can afford it, unlike the original, which costs € 1350. The fact that one costs less and the other more and the fact that I can afford one and the other not, is beyond the scope of this article. I'm interested that no matter how much it costs I won't feel like I threw money away, even if it's bought from MiniPrix, Kurtmann, Mango, H&M, Reserved, SammyDress, etc., and in this case I really don't have any negative comment to do. It's awesome!
I have a single regret, that they don't have a center in Europe, so that the delivery take less.

P.S. In my opinion, the red bag should be part of every woman's
standard wardrobe. It's an element that has the ability to transform a completely common outfit into a show
What do you think? Am I right or not?
