Wedding season

Every time I need to attend a wedding the questions start popping in my mind:
What dress to wear? With what accessories? How should I style my hair? What kind of make-up should I put on?

I don't attend to often special events and when an opportunity like that occurs, I embrace it because it gives me the chance to wear more spectacular outfits than in day to day life.

I have the dress from the pictures for almost a year now. I bought it for another wedding, but I couldn't attend that wedding any more so I kept it with the label on, until now. To be honest, I consider the dress to be some kind of barometer for the way I look... meaning that... from time to time I dress with it to check how I look. If I don't like the way I look when wearing the dress, then I start loosing weight again.

The sandals are a sin I committed 15 hours before attending the wedding. I really wanted something comfortable and in order to achieve that I spent 50 Euro. I'm sure that if I would have thought about this a week earlier I would have spent at the most 25 Euro on some similar ones... It doesn't matter now because they really were comfortable. They were a good acquisition.

I really wanted to do something special with my hair, not to fancy or complicated, but my usual hair stylist was booked on that particular day, so I decided to keep it natural.
I said it in the past and I will repeat it once again. Nowadays, having a good hair-stylist is almost as important as having a good doctor. If you find the person who knows what to do with your hair you need to keep it with your teeth.

The make-up is another story. I'm no make-up artist, but there are few chances to do something and not like it. That is why I usually prefer to keep the manicure, pedicure and make-up to myself. I've been doing it since I was a teenager and I will continue to do it as long as I live.

Now it's your turn. Do you embrace special events? Are they a reason for stress? Who handles your hair, make-up, manicure, pedicure before attending these events?

Paris, we're coming!!!

The moment I've been waiting for so long has finally arrived!
It's a moment when I realize that all those hard endless days of intense study, from high school and college, were not in vain ... when all
my parents admonitions, to do well in school and get good grades, finally make sense ... when the soul prevails over the body, receiving the much desired nutrition.

If you're a faithful reader of this blog, then you already know that this trip to Paris is a gift in advance, for my 30 years anniversary (my birthday is actually on December 30th).
Definitely it's more than a gift, it's a dream come true.

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you will assist live
to this experience, if not, stay nearby because when I return, I intend to relate to you my whole adventure, from A to Z, in order to have support whenever you decide to undertake a similar journey.

P.S. At the time of this post we are in the airport. Kiss you! See you when I get back!

Shop the second dress "Inspired by Zadin"

Today I'm writing a new page for the Inspired by Zadin story.

I would like to think we made a good impression with the first dress and that you see potential in our initiative to make a dream come true. If not, I assure you that you haven't even seen 10% of what we can achieve. Probably Corina, our first client, thinks... this is arrogance...
Just kidding of course, she knows what I mean and truth be told Corina has become not only our first client but, I dare to say, a close friend, who asks nothing in return and who supports us with sincere and constructive opinions. I repeat... all this is happening by default...
Isn't it nice to know that there are still such people on the face of the Earth? Who give without claiming to receive something in return.

Corina promised she will take a picture in Paris, in front of the Eiffel Tower, with our first dress, and she will send it back to us to see it. Now, while writing, I realize that the dress will get to Paris before me ... Hmmmm ... I'm kidding again :-). It is an honor to know that and I'm asking you to believe in everything I'm writing because it's really happening.

As I told Corina, in a private message, even though I won't sell another dress I'm still a winner... I won her and I hope one day she will be confident enough to show the world how she really is... although I could be really selfish and keep her just for me.

P.S. What do you think about the second dress Inspired by Zadin?
Starting today, the dress can be found in the Shop section of this blog, together with our other creations.
